With better oiling through the piston the temperatures will be reduced leaving you with less movement in the material. This allows tighter tolerances. Each pin boss has two oiling holes which are connected by a groove to allow a steady film and volume of oil to the top of the piston pin for increased lubrication to the pin (allowing for more heat dissipation). The ring lands have a mirror finish resulting in the best possible ring seal to the cylinder wall—allowing you to reap all of the power your engine makes.
